after a week or so out of action all my sites are active again and will see a steady return to action i have a full edition of april in a nutshell to produce in a week on my fotopic and youtube to finish ernestly amongst other things

firstly
the other commitment/play is now finished meaning activity on all sites should be back to normal soon

DRS
on th 24th of april the broadsman railtour came in from crewe heading for norwich then at norwich split into 2 with 2 37s going to sheringham and the north norfolk railway and a single 20 heading to great yarmouth
me and the crew from GEG were on duty at wymondham to see the tour come in and then headed to norwich to see the tours depart then headed to great yarmouth to see the 20
that is where i unfortunatly had to leave due to other commitments
so other than that which is my only regret and what i'd change this event was rather good meeting some good people and a new (cool) friend i give this meet a massive 9 out of 10

S&D
the day after the DRS tour the nene valley was the centre of attention with their somerset and dorset gala celebrating and recreating an occurance in the 60s when 73050 and 44422 double headed
on the 25th these 2 shared passenger duties double heading 1 from PNV to yarwell complete with pines express headboard
J94 no. 22 and class 14 D9516 were also on duty with 22 hauling the freight train and D9516 moving the DSBs and TPO coaches out of the way to an even worse place than before (longville junction (an enthusiasts favourite at NVR))
so in all this was a good event even though it got boring after the pines express had been through the only other MAJOR bad thing that made this event AWFUL was the 2 not so gentlemen at ferry meadows who were not at all nice to me (that's the last time i stop at a station they're manning)
cos of that the event gets 6 1/2 out of 10

overall plays DRS and S&D the whole week gets a great 8 1/2 out of 10
and may should be just as good
