I attended this gala on the last saturday of january and was not disapointed from what i saw despite me not being much of an lms fan compared to the other big 4 companies but events like this, ivatts and black 5s really do make me change my mind
the gala saw 8 locos in action on an intensive timetable with TPOs and freights as well as the normal passenger service how ever the day seemed to slowly get later and later even though this kept going up and down because of this 44767 swapped duties with 42968 this was the only fault of the day but it didn't matter as a good day was had by all
overall i'd rate it 9/10 a fantastic gala and definately a line i would reccomend to 'any' rail enthusiast
