i'll start off with tuesday, standard day at 6form but a great evening. i was waiting to go out to film a charter and a test train when i hear of an east coast rescue with 67008 at the front so after tea quickly headed up to peterborough to get it, after that it was the turn of the test train top and tailed by drs 37s i managed to shoot these in 3 locations thanks to the invention called a bike after that it was the turn of the charter hauled by 2 67s 67028 and 029 which was great because i required 028 now i only require 11 67s i also saw 66152 (the red shed) and a few other great things
on saturday (today) i started the day by going to crown lakes to see a steam charter hauled by 46115 scots guardsman thankfully despite it being late it didn't have a wcrc diesel on the rear i then went to do some work at railworld, had an excelent view of some women on the way home and the bbq failed (which was great for me)

a lot has been happening to me lately i almost lost everything on my computer at one point but that's another story
on the 12th i gave up railways for half a day to go out and help a friend of mine because he needed someone to film a football game for him and some of the people playing as they try to get a scolarship to go play and learn in the usa it went well despite half way through the first third of the game the hired camera died and i had to switch to my camera which acted as standby after the game and a treat to macdonalds i got a lift home and went to railworld for the rest of the afternoon then after some pizza went to peterborough station to film 55022 royal scots grey this was a little disapointing because of the wcrc crap on the rear and because they put it through platform 5 where we got all the shadows when they could've easily put it on the fast even if they stopped at the signal then we stayed for the northern belle (an added bonus) pulled by 67003 which i don't need it was good to look at the consist anyway then on sunday i made an unusual trip out to see the diverted sleeper service this was hauled by 90036 and stopped in platform 5 which is unusual due to an ets fault while they sorted that out i managed to cab the loco then film it depart monday i was back at railworld where we made a model lake and trust me it wasn't easy and the water will be added tomorrow finally after we finised at railworld i had the added bonus of another 90 this time it was 90024 heading north light engine these adding on to what a great month this is turning out to be (check out my youtube and fotopic for videos and photos of these shinanagans

Thursday was the start to an even busier end of week than usual for me. first off was the york trip on thursday, to start off with i stopped off at doncaster to phot 2 x 08s, 20s, and 47s and the 91 that were in the yard at doncaster (was hoping to see 67023 but it disapeared) after that i carried on to york and spent a little time modern train spotting, after which i got on the Grand Central service going as far as thirsk. for haulage i had 180112 going to thirsk  and after 11 minutes at thirsk another Grand Central service arrived and i got that back to york this time i had my valenta beast 43123 with 43067 on the rear for haulage. i then went to the NRM to join in their Mallard celebrations (for those who don't know 4468 Mallard will soon be leaving the NRM york to go to shildon) at the NRM jinty 47406 onloan from the Great Central in return for them having Rocket was giving passenger rides in the south yard. a great time was had at york and the NRM. after the NRM i got some KFC :P and went back to the mainline station to wait for 6D43 which is 60 hauled from jarrow to linsey today 60010 was on this working (it was a little early and took the least expected line so took me by surprise) just as it was leaving colas 47 (47739) came through with 2 barriers, i also had heads up that a 37 was arriving and sure enough in came 37423 with caroline and thanks to late trains i was able to get a few more photos before i left. just as we approached doncaster i saw 67017 with more barriers so got off at doncaster to see the colas 47 again and a refurbed class 508 ready for transfer and sneakily behind these was 67023 by now trains were held and delayed due to an electric fault at doncaster. eventually after a while and photographing the newer arrivals at doncaster 67023 came out to play and another 67 in my books finally to top it off my newer train home was HST hauled a great way to top off a great day
The next day on friday was an added bonus as the family decided to go to hunstanton for the day so we all car'd down for the day and had a whale of a time by the sea
Saturday i was back in norfolk again this time for the North Norfolk Railway's mixed traction gala starring 44767 george stephenson, LEV1, the repainted 101, 31207, 65462, 69621 and 25057 things stated off as usual (LATE) but they soon made up time and didn't get no later than 15 minutes i managed to get a ride on all the locos and had a great time in the afternoon the 101 failed meaning the LEV got to come out again. an 08 was kept busy shunting all day meaning i also got to see 5619, IOVR, the 37 and 47, and the overhauled tender of 8572 (61572) a great day at sheringham until national express ruined things one of their trains was terminated at cromer and canceled meaning we were stranded for an hour but still got back to sheringham where an added bonus of a DRS 47 and 37 and 90018 awaited and thanks to a late running EMT 158 i was able to photo all of them before getting on the 158 for the sleepy and boring trip home
sunday was a usual lazy day in home town and the next week should see things return to normality
thanks to everyone involved for giving me a fantastic week off
